Step 3. Every week a new call sheet will be posted on the call board, letting you know who is required to be at rehearsal that day. If you are ever unsure, ask Mrs. Warren! Read the rehearsal instructions below:

 

Preparing for Music Rehearsals:

• Script

• Pencil

• Highlighter

• You need to listen to/read the lyrics to the songs listed on the music rehearsal. This should not be the first time you are going over the music. We will move quickly and lyrics will need to be already memorized.

 

Preparing for Choreography Rehearsals:

• Clothes/shoes you can move easily in

• You need to know the songs listed on the choreography rehearsal. You will not be able to hold a script while we are learning the movements, and therefore cannot look at the lyrics. Learn lyrics ahead of time.

 

Preparing for Blocking/Staging Rehearsals:

• Script

• Pencil

• Highlighter

• Blocking is learning movement for the spoken scenes of the play. You need to look at all spoken parts in the page range listed. If you speak, your lines should be memorized. Rehearsal should not be the first time you are looking at your lines.
